Online Survey Research

The University policy states that all research involving human subjects undergo review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Investigators must submit an application to the Office of Research Compliance (ORC) for review by the IRB. The investigator may only then proceed to conduct online survey research using the survey instruments after the IRB's review and approval of the project.

Downloadable versions of the informed web consent template and recruitment email template for conducting online survey research can be found on our Informed Consents page. For more information on creating surveys and submitting survey requests, check out our SurveyMonkey Services.
